At Washington Adventist University, education is faith-based and student-focused. The university offers more than 32 majors and academic programs, including associate, bachelor, and graduate degrees.

We consider Washington, D.C., where more than 190 countries are represented, a living and learning laboratory. It is the center for government, professional, and business organizations as well as the world headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

It reaches far beyond worship services, but into the classroom, residence halls, student organizations, and mission opportunities that allow students to put faith into action. At Washington Adventist University there are several world class programs which make the university unique. Music performance is another program of excellence at Washington Adventist University. World class music groups regularly perform at Carnegie Hall and numerous other venues nationally and internationally.

Washington Adventist University’s sports program includes both intercollegiate and intramural sports for men and women. Washington Adventist University is a member of both the NAIA Division I and USCAA athletic programs.
