Admissions Requirements

Admissions requirements for professional programs may vary from the general admissions standards shown below. Admissions committees may also grant exceptions on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the admissions office at your college of interest to confirm specific requirements.

Requirements for Regular Undergraduate Freshman Admission

AdventHealth University

(formerly Adventist University of Health Sciences)

Regular acceptance GPA:

  • 2.70 for general admission
  • GPA requirement for professional programs vary. Please contact admissions.

  • ACT: 19
  • SAT: 990 (combined score)

Andrews University

Regular acceptance GPA:

  • 2.50

Regular acceptance test scores

  • ACT: 50th percentile composite, currently a 20
  • SAT: 50th percentile composite, currently a 1020 for Evidence-based Reading and Writing [ERW] and Math combined

Preferred application deadline(s):

  • July 15 is the priority application deadline for students qualifying for regular admission
  • July 15 for students not meeting regular admission standards
  • July 15 for student to take the ACT/SAT tests (unless the student has not taken the test at all prior to this date or does not have scores high enough for regular admission

  • Late Application Fee of $50 starts after July 15 for Fall semester
  • November 15 for Spring Semester
  • March 15 for Summer Session 1
  • April 15 for Summer Session 2
